Under the U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child Article 31, play is a human right.  All state parties have a duty to ensure every child has access to play.

Freedom Friday

Every Friday lunchtime, the gate between the KS1 main playground and the Reception classes playground is opened. This means that siblings and friends from different year groups can play together and all the children have a greater choice of areas to play in. The children treat each other with respect and all help to tidy up.
