Safeguarding Leads have received the appropriate training to carry out this role which is renewed every two years.
All staff receive annual safeguarding training to refresh their understanding and learn about new developments in best practice. Teachers are asked to report any causes for concern to the Designated Safeguarding Lead immediately following school protocol. Any relevant concerns will be shared with parents. Concerns may range from children being visibly upset or persistent absence to children disclosing issues affecting them.
If you have any concerns about the welfare of a child at our school, please ask to speak to a Safeguarding Lead who will signpost you to who to contact and use appropriate confidentiality in dealing with your concern.
